  A truly bizarre experience. I arrived here looking to stay about a week or so from the 18th to the 27th. I was put in a room without a number, where the handle appeared bound with tape and the room itself lacked a functioning shower or indeed toilet paper. When I came to check out on the 26th, despite having initially made it clear I'd be leaving on the 27th, I was informed I'd been charged the wrong amount and owed them an additional seventy dollars. I was also repeatedly bombarded with questions from the owner, who seemed fixated on whether my girlfriend was in fact my wife (not that she was even staying in the motel with me), whether I had a job (I do) and why I was even in the US (I'm English, not that it matters or is any of her business). A very peculiar experience that I don't care to repeat, and it doesn't surprise me to read other reviews here mentioning that the owner will attempt to obtain additional cash from you. Avoid.
